Praying for the Safety of Everyone

The whole Asia-Pacific region as well as the West Coast of the United States is the lookout because of the earthquake and tsunami that devastated Japan. Images flashed the internet and television right now giving the world an idea of how it was after the incident. If there is one thing that we have to be thankful of it would be that the tsunami did not hit any of our provinces. Seeing the devastation that it created on a country whose very used to having earthquakes, one could just wonder how it will be if it was our country. We do not even have half of their knowledge when it comes to natural disasters like this. It was a real relief when I heard that we have been spared from it. I do hope though that this will be a wake up call to all of us. We should always be ready for the unseen and we should always ask for guidance from the Almighty so we will be spared from these natural disasters. After all, in times like this, nobody will be able to give us a hand except Him alone. Let us continue to pray for the safety of everyone.
