It's such a boost for me since I am actually trying to contemplate on writing to earn a living for good. I know I still need to improve in a lot of aspects but then with fellow bloggers who shows appreciation in my post, it really helps a lot.

My Dream Furniture

I have been thinking of giving our bedroom a facelift. I wanted to have something different, something like those that I have seen from one movie that I loved watching over and over again. Hubby have always been telling me that I must have a very old soul since I have always been inclined on getting rustic furniture. I always believe that they not only serve their purpose but they are also a delight to look at. I would rather rest in a big sturdy log beds than in those metal framed beds being sold in the market nowadays. Yes, it might cost me more but in the end it is more practical. I have always had a dream bed in mind and I was so amazed to see something very similar to what I always dreamed of.



I showed hubby the picture and he liked the design as well. He even thinks it is better than what we have right now. I do hope to save some amount because I really want to have this one. What do you think?

Another School Year Starts

Today is the first day of my son in school. To put it correctly, today is his first day in school for his fourth school year. He's already in second grade. He started to go to school at age three. It was not actually our idea but the kid actually ask that he be in school on that school year. For the past years, he's been enrolled in different schools. I could tell you how picky my hubby is when it comes to his son's school plus the fact that there has been a lot of movements for us in the past three years. Today is different from his previous first days. He was reunited with his classmates last year. I guess that explains the excitement on my son's eyes. Hmm, it seems that every school year is turning to be more exciting than the previous one. (Must have been the girl classmates? oh no, please, not this early!). Well, as for me, let me just show you what I have been doing for the last two days.




These have been printed in sticker papers. The small pencils will be the tags for his notebooks, while the big one will be pasted on a cardboard then wrapped in plastic cover so it can serve as his nametag. The last layout will be for his notebooks and books.

Now, could you tell if this mom is also excited for the new school year?

I have already said in a couple of entries here that I am contemplating on working-from-home. I have actually tried to check most of the online money making deals and I have found some good ones that serves my interest. I know that the increasing my page rank should be the first step because it means that I have better readership which consequently means that I have good content. I happen to come across an experiment being conducted aiming to increase the page ranking of those who wish to participate. The rules are pretty easy and yes, I'm participating on it. What is nice is that the top referrer of the experiment will be awarded a domain and website for free. How cool could that be?
